Questions Dojo Owners Ask
Straight answers before you commit.
Do my students lose their ranks?
No. No one loses their ranks. Your students keep everything they have earned — affiliation recognises their progress and gives it a standard the whole organisation stands behind.
What does affiliation cost?
$20 per year; up to $300 for larger schools. One simple fee — no hidden charges, no long-term contract.
What do we get for it?
Each member receives an OJI badge and a member passport, giving them a real identity within the organisation — plus member discounts at OJI seminars and events.
Do you change my curriculum?
No. We do not change your curriculum. We offer guidance, mentorship and a clear path — you keep teaching your way, with a standard and a team behind you.
Will I still run my own school?
Yes. Your school stays yours — your name, your students, your way of teaching. Affiliation adds the standard, the mentorship and the network.
How do I get started?
Start with a conversation. Tell the Ontario Director about your school and your goals, and he will walk you through the affiliation process.
